Judge This Gear is a place for musicians and music gear snobs to come together to rank, discuss, and thoroughly judge used music gear listings on the internet. This site is inspired by the way that music gear people obsess over and debate the merits of different instruments and other equipment. If you've ever seen a Reverb listing and thought "pfft that's way overpriced" or "wow, that's the rare edition with the mini-humbuckers," then this is the site for you!
You can upvote and downvote listings (a la Reddit) and leave comments on each individual listing page. If, for example, you see a listing for a sweet vintage rarity that you think other people should know about, upvote it so it rises to the top of our "hot" feed. If you see a listing that's way overpriced or has bad photos, downvote away. We're not really concerned about hurting any seller feelings here; we just want the power of the gear community to surface the best stuff possible! Huzzah!
Currently, this site includes only listings for guitar and guitar-related gear on Reverb. In the future we hope to add additional categories and marketplaces.
